New York Fashion Week is over!

It's all done, hundreds of models, thousands of viewers, and millions of clothes. It can only be Fashion Week, taking a look at the latest styles and the latest trends that will be definitely be making some sort of appearance in the seasons to come. Keeping up with the Fashion Week isn't hard. For me especially, but if any of you have 'Snapchat' another installation they have added is live snap chat stories covering thousands of phones for one occasion, this one being NYFW. Which made anyone with Snapchat easy access to loo at a live(-ish) feed of what was going on.
The unforgettable Marc Jacobs S/S 2015 set had me, the different use of cool colours for Spring and also co-ordinating the colours from this season in, keeping the monochrome pieces in and adding a twist to them.
Wet look also seems to be making some sort of come-back in Marc's eyes, however looking at the other designs and sets from the others. I'm not entirely sure. Black won't work again, we've made the mistake of black wet-look leggings and we are trying to move past that without any one noticing, however another piece Mr Jacobs has adapted with the wet look/patent sheen which I personally think will go down storm, as we all know shoe boots are a must-have, my girlfriend has some and they go with everything and anything she wears and she manages to look classy and stylish with a jumper and those on. (Don't kill me Jesse..) Let's take a look at a pair Marc has created.

Mr Jacobs, I think with the right pair of black shabby jeans, black jumper and matching nude bag, I think we have an absaloute winner here. They don't have too much shine to them, just the right amount. If anyone's like me and when I find the right pair of shoes I will wear them until they are nothing but soles, just new or worn even to bed I think they will give off the perfect look.

My final observation of NYFW S/S '15 includes a set from Micheal Kors, a label I personally thought that would fade out after everyone got a bag. But I stand corrected, Micheal Kors is a brand we need to keep our eye on as it's racing up the designer label charts faster than you can say New York Fashion Week.. Yes I am laughing at myself. Kors and other designs have definitely gone for nautical theme this coming Spring, and I don't blame them, the last time Nautical was successfully done was in 2007/08 and I was in Year 8, so not so successful for me. The vibe I have gotten from this theme is 'Counsellors wife on a Saturday on their large porch by the sea front in California ready for a campaign'. That is very long and hard to imagine for most. Blue's are a definite, crisp and fresh whites accompanied by a tan belt and a matching tan Micheal Kors bag. Instead of endless describing I think I will just show you..
Micheal, you have yourself one definite believer in your style and ways.
Again going from the Nautical theme, the crisp whites and blues, hints of red will also be put in their, however block colours are swiftly making their way out and softer colours and more practical colours are returning for Spring, (thank goodness) here's Thom Browne's Spring piece, one of many fantastic pieces.

In conclusion, the start of Fashion Week has been incredible, as usual and I really looking forward to London and the others and what they have in store for us. Keep up to date here on my blog for more posts from the various countries.
